For Rumana Nazim, The Edit has always been about more than opening a store. It was about creating a place that people would genuinely love spending time in.

Born and raised in Dubai, Rumana has always had an instinct for discovering beautiful things, bringing people together and creating spaces that feel special. With a love for fashion, art, interiors and culture, she wanted to bring these interests together in a way that hadn’t quite existed in the city before.

In 2018, that vision became The Edit.

What began as an idea for a different kind of retail experience has grown into a destination that reflects Rumana’s own curiosity and ever-evolving interests.

From discovering emerging designers and championing independent, women-founded brands to introducing a matcha bar and creating opportunities for the community to come together, Rumana’s personal touch can be found throughout The Edit.

She believes that the best spaces aren’t necessarily the grandest or the most elaborate. They’re the ones that make you feel comfortable and give you a reason to return.

And that’s exactly what she set out to create.

Today, The Edit continues to evolve alongside her, bringing together everything she loves under one roof. A place that feels less like a store and more like a home away from home.
